Appointments from July 5 to July 7!
All (or almost all) is ready for the 2013 edition of the Pink Night: renamed the “Summer New Year’s Eve”, the event will affect the entire Adriatic coast, some 110 km of coastline. There will be many events in Ravenna too, just to name a few:
– Extraordinary opening of the historic sites with the possibility of guided tours to the Domus dei Tappeti di Pietra (the Domus of Stone Carpets), the Basilica of San Vitale, the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, the TAMO – St. Nicholas complex, the Mausoleum of Theoderic
– The Pb Underground concert in the Public Gardens of Ravenna, July 5: directly from London and for the first time in Italy, a group of 13 members: Pete Ray Biggin, Ben Epstein, Ben Jones, Daniel Bingham, Dan Carpenter, Alistair White, Sean Freeman, Richard Beesley, Brendan Reilly, Holly Petrie, Kirsten Joy Child. Admission fee: € 20
– There will be many concerts and events on the seaside resorts (lidi), as the performance of the “Città di Cervia” (“City of Cervia”) Youth Orchestra in Lido di Classe, the Mini Olympics For Children in Lido di Dante, the musical “The Age of Rock” in Marina di Ravenna in association with Mirabilandia
– There will be Brazilian Samba and Caribbean music to dance the night away on the channel of Cervia
